El Mayimbe of Latino Review has reported a bit of information that has me crossing my fingers until 2015. Christopher Nolan is rumored to spearhead the production of the Justice League movie, featuring Christian Bale as Batman once again. My reaction…
Let’s talk about the possibility of this movie’s success. As noted on Box Office Mojo, Joss Whedon’s The Avengers, featuring Marvel Comics’ superhero team, grossed at over $1.5 billion worldwide. Well, Nolan’s The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises grossed at about the same– EACH. Add a few more superheroes to the mix, and well– you do the math.
We’re not the ones cashing in, however, so let’s discuss what could be in store for comic and/or movie fans everywhere. I mean, can we expect Justice League to be everything we could have possibly dreamed? Unfortunately, according to Bad Ass Digest, Will Beall’s script is a bust. Let’s hope that Warner Bros. finds writers that can help our DCU superhero team live up to its full potential.
One thing for sure, I will not miss an opportunity to see Christian Bale and Man of Steel‘s Henry Cavill teamed up on the silver screen.
And I wonder, what actress will be casted as the beautiful (and badass) Wonder Woman?
